作为表演者, 教育家, 和售票员, 盖Krohn is committed to inspiring and engaging others through music.  Mr. Krohn serves as the High School Orchestra Director for Ann Arbor 休伦高中, where he conducts the Symphony Orchestra, Concert Orchestra, and Philharmonic Orchestra.   Mr. Krohn also teaches beginning strings at 洛根小学 and assists at Clague Middle and Scarlett Middle Schools.  Prior to his appointment with the Ann Arbor Public Schools, Mr. Krohn served as the High School Orchestra Director for Saline Area Schools.  In addition to his position at Huron, Mr. Krohn has served as the 音乐 Director and Conductor for the Mason Symphony Orchestra (MI) and the Arbor Brass Choir and currently serves as Director of 音乐 at Lord of Light Lutheran Church in Ann Arbor.  Originally from Lewisburg, PA, Mr. Krohn began studying the violin at 年龄 three and has played with several folk groups around Michigan.  As a trumpet player, Mr. Krohn is currently the 主要 Trumpet with the Birmingham-Bloomfield Symphony and has performed with the Michigan Opera Theater, Ann Arbor Symphony, Adrian交响曲, Dearborn Symphony, 普利茅斯交响曲, Chautauqua Festival Orchestra, Pierre Monteux Orchestra, Williamsport Symphony, and the Lexington (MI) Bach Festival.  Mr. Krohn holds degrees in Trumpet Performance, 音乐教育, and Conducting from the University of Michigan where he was a student of William Lucas and Michael Haithcock.  Mr. Krohn has also studied with Marianne Ploger, 鲍勃·卡尔弗, 肯尼斯·Kiesler, 杰瑞百仕通, 和史蒂文·戴维斯.

In his free time, Mr. Krohn enjoys Michigan Football, 瑜伽, 运行, 踢足球, 桥, and spending time with friends and family.
